Tasting notes:
A top-end expression from Inama, this pricy, pure Carmenere is fine, peppery and moreish. Starting to age, there’s some stewed red fruit, and a touch of cigar box and dried grass too, but the core flavours consist of berries, plums and pepper, then dark chocolate and sour cherry. Fairly light in mouthfeel, this is an expression that offers refreshment and complexity rather than weight and concentration. (Patrick Schmitt MW)
