Tasting notes:

The Dante Robino winery was founded in 1920 and is now owned by Cervecería and Maltería Quilmes. The winery operates 1,200 hectares of vines in the Luján de Cujo area. This wine comes from the unique spot of Los Chacayes in the Valle de Uco. An excellent example of fine-quality Malbec, the wine has intense damson and briary fruits, accented by cigar box and creamy oak notes with a touch of floral lift. The intense palate flavours are framed by crisp acidity and tightly-etched tannins. Lingering with a sappy finish, the wine would suit devilled lamb kidneys and portobello mushrooms.
