Alejandro López is the current visionary winemaker and manager for Bodegas Beronia and has brought international experience in both technical and market spheres to the wines of Beronia. This wine, 100% Tempranillo, is a classic crianza. Displaying a deep ruby colour, the aromas of red berries and pomegranate are accented by vanilla and butterscotch. Dry, the mid-weight palate shows fresh acidity and slightly grainy tannins to balance the concentrated flavours across the palate. The savoury finish points to a pairing with Ibérico dried meats and firm Spanish cheeses. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
