Tasting notes:

 This exquisite wine is a multi-vintage blend aged in 400l casks, refreshed with young wine, so a sort of \'solera wine\'. Mid-yellow in colour with an ethereal set of aromatics: quince, mango, apple, cream, butter and mixed flowers overlying the fruit and gentle oak. Almost dry, but very intense with bracing acidity framing the palate. Integrated oak, great balance, layered and textured, what\'s not to love? A delectable dream of a wine that does not really need any accompaniment, but I suppose Colchester oysters or French fois gras or Beluga caviar, if one must? (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
