Tasting notes:
On the nose, the wine initially reveals a touch of reduction, which slightly masks the aromas of ripe blackcurrant and subtle spices, including cloves and a hint of peppercorn. The palate is dry and full-bodied, showcasing mid-intensity flavors of dark fruit, particularly black plum, alongside a complex interplay of spice. While the tannins are somewhat foursquare and chewy, they provide structure. The finish is dry and moderately lengthy.
