Tasting notes:

Named after the goddess of nature, love, beauty and art, La Piu Belle is an excellent moniker for this flagship from the Vik stable of wines. Very deep ruby, the wine exudes plums and ripe blackcurrants, with cigar box and a violet infused lift. Dry, and sweet-fruited, the palate structure of lively acidity and linen tannins is seamlessly integrated and lingering, with a mint-choc-chip note on the finish. Very attractive, it works well with duck breasts in a morello cherry-red wine sauce. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
