Tasting notes:

This Bordeaux blend, grown on the alluvial soils on a clay-rock base of the Valle de Uco, is made by partner winemaker Alejandro Vigil of Bodega Aleanna. The wine, deep ruby-purple in colour, shows intense dark cherry and blackcurrant fruit with a mineral-clay undertone. Dry, but sweet-fruited, the palate has crisp acidity and silky tannins. Well-integrated with a lingering finish and a hint of peppery spice, the wine will be a great foil for braised beef, cooked Mexican-style. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
