Tasting notes:

Another cracking wine from Alejandro Vigil, this Malbec is accented by the addition of aromatic Cabernet Franc. Deep purple-coloured, the wine has dark berry and wild cherry fruit, with undertones of toasty oak and fragrant iris flowers. Medium-bodied, the intensely-flavoured palate is layered and beautifully textured, with balancing racy acidity and velvet tannins. Exceptional value too, this delicious wine is an elegant pairing for lamb crown roast stuffed with couscous, onion, dried apricots and pinenuts. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
