Tasting notes:

The Old Road Wine Co. \'stands proudly\' in the centre of the town of Franschhoek and produce lovely wines from very old vines. \'Anemos\' is the Greek word for wind, inspired by the \'Cape Doctor\', the southeasterly winds in the Cape. Pale lemon-yellow in colour, the wine exhibits intense yellow fruits and tangerine with creamy oak and delicate honey nuances. Just dry, the mid-weight palate flavours are framed by brisk acidity and accented by custard and lime and orange zests. A lovely wine to pair with \'classic\' Réunion Creole-spiced rôtisserie chicken. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
