Tasting notes:

Crafted by winemaker Silvio Alberto, the Enzo range is dedicated to Don Enzo Bianchi, mentor and oenologist at Bodegas Bianchi for more than 50 years. Like IV Generación, this wine comes from a single vineyard block at 1,350m in the Los Chacayes finca. Purple-black in colour, the wine exudes blackberry, brambles and dark plums, with cigar box and earthy undertones and a hint of crushed red rose petal. Quite sweet-fruited, dense and dark, the rich palate is well integrated with fresh acidity and silky-textured tannins giving structure. Long and layered, this would be a good match for beef ribs, marinated in cayenne, paprika, cumin, garlic and black pepper. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
