Tasting notes:

Another fantastic wine from the Pedernal Valley in San Juan, this four-hectare plot is on Limestone Hill, where the soils are limestone rocks mixed with silt, sand and clay. The wine, almost opaque purple-coloured, shows blackberry, blueberry and morello cherry, with cigar box and delicate mint and floral accents. Rich but refined, the palate flavours are framed by tangy acidity and velvet-textured tannins. Sappy, savoury, layered and complex, this is a fabulous example of Malbec. A good choice to pair with succulent rabbit stew. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
