Dandelion Vineyards is the project venture of Elena Brooks and her husband Zar. The Red Queen of the Eden Valley vineyard is more than 115 years old and is managed by viticulturist Colin Kroehn. Deep purple-ruby in colour, the wine shows intense black fruits and black pepper, with smoke and dark chocolate accents. Big and bold, the palate flavours are well defined, with racy acidity and silky-textured tannins balancing the warm alcohol and ripe fruit. A superior wine that tastes well with coq au vin.
