Tasting notes:

Perdeberg\'s ionic dry-farmed Chenin comes from the top of Paardeberg Mountain and is a superb expression of South African Chenin Blanc. Carefully crafted by winemaker Albert Louw, this wine was fermented in ceramic amphorae, concrete tanks and large oak barrels, then the components were blended for a perfect match. Exemplary, this wine has a medium yellow colour with quince, peach and pineapple with accents of butter, cream and yellow flowers.  The palate is dry and bracing acidity supports the palate flavours. Integrated, textured and balanced, the wine is delicious and layered, perfect for goat\'s cheese and sprouting broccoli crèpes. A simple dish to marry a complex wine. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
