The symbol of overlapping hands on each Crios bottle represents a family bond and the ability to connect, nurture the land, prepare a family dinner or craft a wine with care. The hands are also symbolic of Susana Balbo’s aims for sustainability. This wine, deep purple-ruby in colour, exudes the essence of Malbec, with crunchy black fruit to the fore. with bracing acidity and ripe, velvet-textured tannins in support. Really good concentration and a lingering finish. Great for rump steak in a shallot-red wine sauce. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
