Bijou is passionate about championing women in wine. The Sophie Valrose range honours the efforts made by Sophie Valrose and other women to establish the importance of their contributions to the success of the wine industry at the turn of the 20th century. This rosé comes from alluvialclay vineyards located between the Bassin de Thau and Gruissan. This lovely wine has a very pale pink-peach hue and a delicate nose of white peach and underripe strawberries, with accents of crushed yellow roses. The palate is lightbodied and fresh, with notes of English flower garden and freshly-mown grass. A beautiful wine to serve with gently cooked chicken breasts with cranberryinfused stuffing.  (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
