Tasting notes:
An icon for a reason. Fifty-year-old vines, regenerative vineyard practices and winemaking that is both respectful of the terroir and skilled in expressing it combine to create a wonderful wine. Deep ruby in colour, the nose is floral, intense and complex, with ripe blackberries, mace, clove and a hint of graphite. On the palate it is supple and elegant, the alcohol warm but very well-integrated, and the finish fresh. Dense and delicious. (Siobhan Turner MW)
