The Mouton Cadet Cuvée Héritage Collection honours the vision and entrepreneurial spirit of Baron Philippe de Rothschild, who founded the brand in the 1930s. The wine is a superb tribute. Pale gold in colour, it is packed with pineapple and melon, supported by toasty oak and accents of honey and tangerine. Very nearly dry, the palate has excellent, fresh acidity to balance just a hint of caramel. Quite dense and long, the wine is an affordable luxury to pair with sole meunière. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
