What must be one of the best Cabernets that £15 can buy, the Omega expression from VIK offers the characters of a wine at double, if not triple, that price. That means plenty of blackcurrant fruit, allied to palate-enlivening peppercorn spice, some sweet cherry indulgence, then dry, cedar-like notes, all framed by fine, firm tannins – as one would expect from fine, ripe and low-yield Cabernet.
