Tasting notes:

A cross-regional blend of Italian varieties from 20-year-old vines, the ripeness of Alicante and the plushness of Montepulciano are framed by the freshness of Tuscan Sangiovese. The wine, produced by Buontalenti in Tuscany, has a deep ruby colour and summer pudding fruits overlaid with creamy oak, tobacco and coffee notes. Sweet-fruited and full-bodied, the palate flavours are supported by racy acidity and dense, silky-textured tannins. A seriously attractive wine that will suit a classic saltimbocca alla Romana.
