However, the oak influence is pronounced, creating a somewhat disjointed balance. On the palate, the wine reveals a deeper ruby color and a complex array of flavours, including notes of drying, powdery textures, bittersweet banoffee pie, chocolate sundae, and hints of cinnamon and dried cherries.
