Tasting notes:

In 1890, Pietro Sensi began producing wines in Tuscany, near Montalbano. Over time, the Tuscan wines grew and were distributed nationally. Later, Sensi chose to expand to different regions of Italy and this gold-lit sparkling wine is one of the Veneto products. Appealing to all of our senses, this is an exciting wine. Pale lime-green in colour with small bubbles and a mid-width cordon, the aromatics have ripe green grapes and peach, with overtones of fresh white bread and lemon blossom. Off-dry, the palate shows crunchy fruit framed by bracing acidity and a brittle mousse texture. A lovely drink that will pair nicely with tropical fruit salads or lighter Chinese dim-sum.  (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
