Tasting notes:
A fascinating wine: not like any Prosecco I have ever tried before. Once the powerful mousse dissipates, a distinctly golden colour is revealed. The nose is pronounced, with an array of aromas not usually associated with Prosecco: butterscotch, honey and cream. The wine is showing age but still fresh, with a palate that is full-bodied and seems to be almost medium-sweet. However, there is just the right amount of acidity to balance all the richness.
