Tasting notes:
A first-rate, pure Chardonnay Champagne from the drought- stricken 2015 vintage, this Mumm expression captures the appeal of blanc de blancs almost perfectly. There’s the zest and chalkiness that makes this style so refreshing, matched to some ripe yellow fruit, including a touch of pineapple, then some nutty, roasted notes, even a hint of peppery spice, and a touch of toast too.
