Tasting notes:
A keenly-priced Pinot from the high-altitude, dry vineyards of Argentina’s Uco Valley, this Doña Paula red provides a pleasing, refreshing alternative to Malbec. Slightly jammy red fruit delivers plenty of immediate appeal, as does a creamy vanilla oak-derived character, while the finish, in keeping with Argentine reds, does feature some rather firm – if ripe – mouth-coating tannins. In short, a Pinot to makes you salivate. (Patrick Schmitt MW)
