Tasting notes:
Andreola practises ‘heroic viticulture’, undertaking all of its vineyard activities by hand on the undulating slopes of Valdobbiadene at altitudes of 200m–500m. This lovely expression is pale lemon-green in hue with tiny bubbles and white cherry, hawthorn and acacia, with subtle yeast and floral notes. Brut-style, the well defined palate flavours are framed by crisp acidity and a silky-textured mousse. Nicely balanced and integrated, this pretty wine is perfect as an aperitif, but would also work well with red mullet meunière. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
