Tasting notes:
Pricey, but a lovely and unique Champagne that encompasses almost all of the white Champagne grapes (it’s just missing Pinot Gris, known in the region as Fromenteau). In terms of taste, there’s an array of fruit characters from greengage to lemon, some nectarine and crisp apple too, complemented by lees-aged brioche-like notes and a very dry finish, with a touch of chalky grip. In essence, this is a complex, fruity blanc de blancs with a firm, refreshing edge. (Patrick Schmitt MW)
