Tasting notes:

Wakefield’s Jaraman wines are produced to reflect Australia’s iconic wine regions. This Jaraman Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from the generous, ripe Clare Valley fruit, allied to the elegant flavours and structure of Coonawarra. Deep ruby-purple in colour, the wine has excellent blackcurrant fruit, accented by gently toasty oak, and mint and floral notes. Dry, but sweet-fruited, the rich palate flavours are framed by lively acidity and dense tannins. Well-defined and textured, the peppery nuance on the finish suggests that the wine will pair well with seared kangaroo fillet steaks, flavoured with thyme and Worcestershire sauce.
