Tasting notes:
A really serious rosé, this takes a style of fizz associated with frivolity to a fine wine level. Ripe pear and ground coffee meld with hazelnuts and pastry, then baked apple and crushed chalk, with some fine, mouth-coating phenolics adding an extra sensation of dryness to what is an extra-brut – if only just. Delicious, refreshing and complex. Savour on its own or with creamy foods. (Patrick Schmitt MW)
