Tasting notes:
From iron-rich soils on southern slopes near Montello (Asolo) comes this pure, delightful extra brut expression. Pale lemon-green in colour with a well defined cordon, the wine displays yellow peach, cherry and lemon fruit with a subtle yeast accent. Dry, the light-bodied, intense palate is beautifully defined by fresh acidity and velvet mousse texture. Made in an elegant, linear style, the wine is a wonderful partner for a dinner party starter of oysters in Asolo cream sauce, grilled and served in scallop shells. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
