Tasting notes:
Produced from Chardonnay grown in nine villages, this wine was aged on its lees for nine years. Pale yellow-gold in colour with persistent bubbles, the wine shows ripe pears, golden apples and pink grapefruit, with plenty of smoky-toasty autolysis and a hint of mint. Brut-style, the mid-weight palate is mature, with lively acidity and velvet-textured mousse supporting the flavours. Lovely development across the palate and a long, savoury finish.
