Tasting notes:

Gaudium has a deepish pink-ruby appearance. The nose is pronounced and youthful. Dark fruit aromas (bramble and plum) are to the fore, as is the new oak (vanilla). It smells polished and expensive. In the mouth, the wine is mid-full-bodied, with ripe but grippy tannins, warm alcohol and low acidity. The fruit and oak follow through from the nose. There is plenty of length on the finish.
