Tasting notes:
A both good and good-value Pinot Noir from the Languedoc, this red from the region’s great winemaking ambassador, Gérard Bertrand, is a find. There’s plenty of sweet cherry and fleshy red berry appeal, married to some milk chocolate from French oak, and then a finish with a firm, if fine, tannin to bring a nice dry edge to what is quite a full-bodied Pinot.
