Project Fiol was founded by great friends and spiritual brothers Giovanni, Gian Luca and Pietro, in 2011. The name is a term of affection in the ancient Venetian language and broadly translates as ‘brothers’ in English. This wine is a great result from these three friends and a fourth one, Marzio, the oenologist who produces the wines. Pale peach-pink in colour with a tight cordon, the wine shows cranberry, pomegranate and wild cherry fruit, with a crushed rose petal overtone. Off-dry in style, the palate is pure and pretty with the flavours framed by crisp acidity and creamy mousse texture. A crowd-pleasing style well-suited to a spring or summer garden party.
