Tasting notes:
An outstanding Champagne that happens to be pink – or more like copper – this Rare rosé from 2014 has so much to recommend it. There’s the white cherry and redcurrant, grilled lemons and ruby grapefruit, then the matchstick and roasted nuts, allied to the zesty, smoky, chalky finish, along with the creamy-textured bubbles and finely grippy phenolics too. In all, it delivers complexity and generosity, as well as mouthwatering refreshment. (Patrick Schmitt MW)
