Tasting notes:
Grown on the concave plateau of Petriolo in clay soils, the 30-year-old vines of the Santa Maria vineyard produce a stunning example. Quite deep garnet in colour, the wine exhibits dark cherries and red plums with creamy oak. Sweet-fruited, the palate flavours are framed by fresh acidity and elegant tannin texture with spice, capsicum and mint nuances. A delightful wine to pair with slow-cooked osso buco Milanese.
