Tasting notes:
This is a beautiful expression from the hot and drought-stricken 2015 vintage, mixing fruit flavours of ripe apple and even pineapple with a touch of honey and juicy lemon too. Far from biting, but certainly refreshing, the finish has a clean, pristine feel, with hazelnut then chalk dust coming through. Beyond this is a persistent if subtle hint of pickled lime and toast.
