Tasting notes:

Weingut Strehn has turned towards rosés, nominally inspired by the wines of southern France, and now produces six different rosés. This wine displays a pale salmon hue, with warm flavours of watermelon, galia melon and yellow peach, with overtones of vanilla and gently toasted white bread. Dry, but quite rich and sweet-fruited, the mid-weight palate is complex, with lively acidity framing the flavours. There is exceptional length. A delight to taste and would pair beautifully with tempura style soft-shell crabs.  (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
