Tasting notes:
Beauty and precision from Susana Balbo yet again. The nose is enticing, with ripe yet fresh red berry fruit and a hint of classic tobacco leaf. On the palate, it has fine-grained tannins and rounded ripeness, warmth and some flesh on the core. There’s an appealing smoky quality wending its way slowly through the wine, mixing with the fruit and a hint of granitic minerality. This has real depth and concentration. (Siobhan Turner MW)
