Tasting notes:

This was the best of a very fine selection from Argentina. A deep colour and vibrant nose points to its youthfulness. The aromas combine a wonderful freshness with classic Cabernet Franc tobacco leaf aromas, alongside lovely floral notes, dark berry fruit and hints of vanilla and mace. The palate is intense, with ripe strawberry and cherry fruit, milk chocolate creaminess and a layered crunchiness that brings freshness and elegance on the finish with a hint of minerality. Long, deep and delicious, this is a very serious wine that was hard to spit. At this price point, an absolute bargain. (Siobhan Turner MW)
