Tasting notes:
A brilliant expression from the generous 2018 harvest, this Rothschild vintage Champagne is lively, lemony and layered. Flavour-wise there is plenty to provide interest, from baked apple, crusty baguette and hazelnuts, to juicy orchard fruits and zesty citrus too. The finish is very dry and chalky, giving it a grippy, mouthwatering edge. (Patrick Schmitt MW)
