Sourced from a single parcel in Verneuil, at the western end of the Vallée de la Marne, where Meunier thrives, this wine is very pale vieux rose in colour with small bubbles and a mid-width cordon. It shows white cherry, red apple and pomegranate fruits with an overlay of fresh yeast. Zero dosage but fruity, with racy acidity and a light body, the palate has red berries and brittle mousse texture leading to a lengthy finish. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
