Tasting notes:
Smooth, complex nose, with orange blossom and creamy notes overlaying blueberries and plums. The palate is showing development, and the wine needs drinking within the next two to three years, but is absolutely delicious now, still with some freshness and grip, fully ripe but not baked. It is long, with mouthcoating, fine tannins and a sweet balsamic core, warming but not hot. Classically Italian in style. (Siobhan Turner MW
