Tasting notes:
Named ‘Survivor Vines’ as a symbol of resilience and heritage, the wine is sourced from a single-vineyard Barossa centenarian block, Jacob’s Creek Block 2, planted in 1922. Pale lemon in colour, the wine displays white peaches, apples and pears, underpinned by cream and honey notes. Dry, the concentrated, high-extract palate is supported by bracing acidity. Layered and textured, the wine has a lingering finish. Enough depth of flavour to suit centre-cut pork loin stuffed with champignons and tiny onions in a white wine sauce. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
