From Nova Scotia to the Okanagan to Niagara, Andrew Peller, his son Joe and grandson John, found a true wine home in the Niagara Peninsula, where this wine has been made for more than 50 years. Pale lemon-green in colour, the wine has yellow fruits, with forest honey and orange zest. The mid-weight palate, medium in sweetness (25g/l residual sugar), is beautifully balanced by crisp acidity. Lingering, with a touch of limestone minerality, the wine will match poached salmon steaks with foie gras ravioli and vanilla pod sauce. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
