Tasting notes:
St Andrews is named after the historic property established in 1892 by a Scottish immigrant family. Acquired by Bill Taylor’s family in 1995, the property was rejuvenated and now produces stunning wines, including this Riesling. This example, slightly rounder than Rieslings from Eden Valley, has apricot, white peach and lemon custard, with a lime accent and some oily texture. Dry and light-bodied, the palate demonstrates high extract and brisk acidity with a zippy finish. Really delicious with classic Cornwall fish pie. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
