Taylors has expanded beyond its origins in South Australia to include grapegrowingand winemaking in the far southwest corner of the country, inMargaret River. With its maritime climate and bright sunshine, this regionis perfect for ripening Sauvignon Blanc. And this wine demonstrates anexcellent result. Very pale white gold in hue, the wine exudes gooseberry,greengage and lemon zest. Dry and light-bodied, the flavours are framedby racy acidity and lanolin texture, accented by white pepper spice. Welldefinedand with good length, the wine will make a nice pairing for homemadespanakopita. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
