Tasting notes:

With 11 months’ ageing in French and American oak barrels and six months further ageing in bottle before release, this wine is classic Rioja white crianza. Pale lemon yellow in hue, the wine shows mirabelle, pear, passionfruit and yellow peach with an enticing vanilla oak overlay. Dry and light-bodied, the concentrated palate flavours are balanced by crisp acidity, with accents of white pepper and baking spices. A very affordable equivalent to pricey white Bourgogne, and savoury on the finish, the wine is a good partner for Cajun-spiced blackened redfish.  (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
