Tasting notes:
A lovely deep amber in colour, this wine has a complex nose of ginger,caramelised apples, dried apricots and honey. The palate has intense peach,mango and pineapple flavours, with hints of caramel. Although very sweet, it isnot at all cloying, the fresh acidity providing a good balance. I was trulysurprised that such a great sweet wine could be made at this price – really goodvalue. An excellent match for apple crumble, crème brûlée, or a chicken biryani.(Siobhan Turner MW)
