The aromas of this wine are what you notice first – surprisingly youthful, but really intense nose, with black fruit, chocolate, plum, oak spice and a hint of cedar. The palate is deep and very integrated, with a full body, warming alcohol and fine, quite high tannins. This is an elegant wine, but it’s noticeably big. (Siobhan Turner MW)
