Tasting notes:
A clean, fresh and complex nose with notes of chocolate, vanilla, blueberry, plum and a hint of strawberry, together with some vanilla and cinnamon oak spice. The palate has elegant, sandy tannins, deep, dark fruit and a hint of Mediterranean herbs. Long, gravelly finish. A big, concentrated wine – a fellow taster described it as “a well-judged thug”.
